Your Journey Into 3D Printing Starts Here
We understand that diving into 3D printing can feel overwhelming. There’s so much to learn — from how models work, to finding the right ones, choosing the materials, and mastering the printing and finishing process. It’s a lot to take on, but we’re here to help you navigate it all with ease.
3D printing is more than a hobby or a tool — it’s a technology that will one day be as intuitive and accessible as any household appliance. It's a way to bring ideas to life, solve everyday problems, and spark creativity at the push of a button.
PICKING A DESIGN
Every great print begins with inspiration — a design you’re excited to bring to life.
You can create your own model, or simply choose one from the many trusted online libraries filled with ready-to-print ideas.
As you explore, you’ll come across two key file types: STL and 3MF.
STL files are the standard format for 3D models. It defines the shape and structure of your object — the digital foundation of your print.
3MF files take a basic STL a bit further. It includes additional information like materials, colors, and how the model should be printed. It’s a smarter file type, and it’s what your printer uses to understand exactly how to print your part not just what your part is.
SUBMITTING AN ORDER
Once you’ve selected your file, sending it to us is quick and simple.
For most casual printers or hobbyists, our Print Now form will be the fastest and simplest way to get your parts made — just upload your file, tell us a bit about your project, and choose from a simple selection of trusted materials. We’ve intentionally kept the options focused to help you get up and running faster.
We’re proud to offer premium materials from partners like Bambu Labs, and we’re happy to special order any filaments they carry, subject to availability. Just let us know what you need — we’re here to make it happen.
MATERIAL & COLOR SELECTION
PLA
Reliable & Versatile
PLA is a staple in 3D printing—and with good reason. It’s affordable, prints with ease, and delivers consistent, sharp results for everything from early-stage prototypes to detailed figures. Whether you're new to printing or a pro working through iterations, PLA is a dependable material to work with.
Its low shrinkage makes it ideal for large prints that need to stay dimensionally accurate, and its lower melting point handles fine details without issue. While it isn’t built for high-stress or high-temperature environments, PLA excels in applications where aesthetics, speed, and simplicity matter most.
MATERIAL & COLOR SELECTION
PETG
Strong & Durable
PETG strikes a solid balance between strength, flexibility, and ease of use—making it a popular choice for functional prints that need to handle mechanical stress. It’s well-suited for brackets, mounts, clamps, and other parts that require durability without being overly rigid.
Thanks to excellent layer adhesion and resistance to moisture, PETG is also ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, including waterproof applications. Its moderate temperature resistance adds to its versatility, handling higher-heat environments better than PLA. The glycol modification in PETG improves clarity in transparent variants and reduces brittleness, making it easier to work with than standard PET.
With low thermal expansion and minimal warping—even on larger prints without an enclosure—PETG offers reliability and strength where it counts, along with just enough flex to absorb impact without cracking.
